There're still great ideas and truly original stuff hidden there, sadly forgotten by most D&D players (and Orcs of Thar is one of the funniest books ever written).Tzimiscedraculhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16762161243138880483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353391426294254427.post-73590265388539539002012-01-19T07:07:55.989-05:002012-01-19T07:07:55.989-05:00Good post. Let me amend that: it may be the best commercial example of what the archetypical "good" D&D setting should be like.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353391426294254427.post-42217607108505937352012-01-19T06:57:05.451-05:002012-01-19T06:57:05.451-05:00The game I play every other Sunday is based in the...The game I play every other Sunday is based in the Known World, although we are using Pathfinder rules. And the campaign is a sequel of sorts to the first campaign we played as a group, running through all the classic Known World modules. Great fun, and a truly mad setting. Survived Castle Amber, led an army on a flying ship, and dealt with the weird wizards of Glantri (which is where we are heading next).Simon Forsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01243845335993440168noreply@blogger.com
