It's easy to forget - how often do we look up when we walk around even in unfamiliar places?

Too bad the players didn't open up with more firepower from the start - maybe a few norkers and gnolls seem too easy after you've fought an army of hobgoblins, but being dug in on the tactical defense can really shift the odds a lot. That's like a 2 or 3 column shift down the CRT in some games. ;)Peter Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14246000382321978462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353391426294254427.post-24150621212881440642012-02-29T09:39:01.026-05:002012-02-29T09:39:01.026-05:00I love the pictures -- I always enjoy reading your...I love the pictures -- I always enjoy reading your reports, and the pictures just made this report even better.Chris C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08655640273250716377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353391426294254427.post-82277591942385349562012-02-29T09:35:51.908-05:002012-02-29T09:35:51.908-05:00Great post! Unfortunately, it looks the players made the biggest mistake - taking the fight into the upper level of the structure.

You gotta keep the action outside so you can send as many of those beasts down a cliff as possible!scottszhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10327316054801308727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4353391426294254427.post-59521862862960681522012-02-29T08:39:14.119-05:002012-02-29T08:39:14.119-05:00I like the pictures, really helps visualise the ba...I like the pictures, really helps visualise the battle.
